How does the free plan work?

The free plan lets you scan all your products and see their SEO and GEO scores. You get 5 AI optimization previews per month to see what Claude AI would suggest. To actually apply changes to your Shopify products, upgrade to the Starter plan or above.

What counts as an AI optimization?

Each time Claude AI generates new titles, meta descriptions, and product descriptions for one product, that counts as one AI optimization. Your monthly quota resets every 30 days from when you activated your plan.

What if I run out of AI optimizations?

You can purchase credit packs anytime (from £19 for 10 products to £119 for 100 products). Credits never expire and are used after your monthly quota is exhausted. Or upgrade to a higher plan for a larger monthly quota.

What is llms.txt?

llms.txt is a standard file (like robots.txt) that tells AI search engines what your site is about. GrowthPilot GEO generates this file automatically and serves it from your storefront domain at /a/llms-txt. AI crawlers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, and others use this to understand your catalog.

What is the JSON-LD theme extension?

Our theme extension injects structured data (Organization, Product, Collection, BreadcrumbList schemas) into your storefront's HTML head. This helps both traditional search engines and AI search engines understand your store. Activate it in Online Store > Themes > Customize > App embeds.

How does monthly automation work?

When enabled, GrowthPilot GEO runs a full pipeline every month: scan all products, score them, run GEO audit, generate AI optimizations for products below your score threshold, and optionally auto-apply the suggestions. You get an email report with results.

Can I review AI suggestions before they're applied?

Yes. By default, AI suggestions are queued for your review. You see a side-by-side comparison of original and suggested content and approve or reject each one. Auto-apply (which skips manual review) is only available on Growth plans and above, and must be explicitly enabled in Settings.

How do I cancel or change my plan?

Go to the Billing page inside the app to upgrade or downgrade your plan anytime. To cancel entirely, uninstall the app from your Shopify admin. Shopify handles all billing, so charges stop immediately on uninstall.
